WiFi Hotspot Installation in Pattaya, Chonburi and Rayong for Hotels, Offices and Factories

We specialise in designing and installing wireless internet (WiFi) for buildings, hotels, offices, condominiums and industrial plants, indoors and outdoors, as well as wireless links between buildings. We use modern signal planning technology and WiFi device monitoring for the most stable operation. We also provide hotspot systems to control user access, limit speed and usage time, and keep logs as required by Thailand’s Computer Crime Act. Systems Connect offers these solutions to help your organisation grow with confidence.

This is our service page for customers who want our team to survey the site, then design, install and maintain a WiFi hotspot or WiFi network that is stable in real use, for hotels, office buildings, factories, restaurants and indoor or outdoor areas in Pattaya, Chonburi and Rayong. If you want to browse access points, routers or other network equipment first, visit our WiFi product category, which is separate from this installation service page.

WiFi hotspot installation starts with a site survey

A WiFi hotspot for a hotel, factory, office or restaurant should not be chosen by the number of access points alone. Start with the actual usage area, the number of simultaneous users, the building layout, materials that block signals, the points that need service and the existing network, so coverage and capacity are designed properly before installation.

What to check before designing a WiFi hotspot

  • The number of users and devices connected at the same time at different times of day
  • Indoor and outdoor areas, including walls, shelving, machinery or structures that may weaken the signal
  • Key usage points such as guest rooms, the lobby, production areas, warehouses, meeting rooms and checkout points
  • The readiness of cabling, PoE switches, rack cabinets and your existing network infrastructure

If WiFi is slow or keeps dropping, don’t add access points straight away

Unstable WiFi can be caused by interference, overlapping channels, poor mounting positions, limits in upstream equipment or not enough capacity on the network path. Measuring first helps identify whether to move access points, add coverage points, change settings or improve part of the network structure.

Separate user networks for easier control and management

For hotels, factories and offices, you can separate the networks for staff, visitors, IoT devices and business equipment with VLANs and set access rights as needed. A captive portal helps manage logins or terms of use for users at public service points. The right approach must first be checked against the equipment and the site’s policies.

To design a WiFi hotspot together with the network and suitable access protection, see our network design services and firewall systems for organisations.

Questions before installing a WiFi hotspot

Should a hotel or resort have a captive portal?

It is suitable when the business wants guests to accept terms of use, or to manage access rights by group. Consider the connection method, guest convenience and your existing back-office systems together.

What information should we prepare for the site survey?

Prepare a floor plan, the number of floors, key usage points, the approximate number of users, your internet service and existing equipment, and the problems you currently have, such as dead spots, WiFi dropping out or slow speeds at busy times.

WiFi Hotspot

  1. WiFi hotspots make internet access more convenient, with WiFi coverage points serving users on mobile phones, computers, tablets and any other WiFi-enabled devices.
  2. They can also strengthen your business. For example, cafes and restaurants with a WiFi hotspot can attract more customers, as an added service for people who visit.
  3. Online technology is developing quickly, and demand for high-speed internet keeps growing, from streaming films and video conferencing to watching media online, so mobile internet speeds are often no longer enough. A WiFi hotspot is one way to meet users’ needs.

WiFi Analyzer

  1. Testing WiFi signals with modern software makes tuning easier, avoids interference and lets us fix problems at the right point more quickly.
  2. We can test signal strength and accurately estimate the speed users will get in the areas or positions you need.
  3. WiFi installation design is more effective because we can produce reports for each location you need.
  4. We can set the installation points and number of WiFi devices, so readiness and pricing can be assessed quickly.

WiFi Monitoring

  1. Uninterrupted operation with continuous monitoring of WiFi device status
  2. You can view historical WiFi reports to pinpoint and fix problems more accurately.
  3. When a problem occurs, such as a device going offline, alerts can be sent through the LINE app so it can be fixed promptly.
  4. Supports operation and control through a mobile app, making remote fixes easy.

Log retention system in Pattaya, Chonburi and Rayong

Log retention under the Computer Crime Act

  1. Keeping log files under the Computer Crime Act is similar to traffic law. More people use the internet every day, for all kinds of purposes, much like cars travelling on the road. So there needs to be a way to deal with people who break the rules, cause trouble for others online or even attack websites and destroy or damage their data.
  2. Thailand’s Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), as amended in B.E. 2560 (2017), states: “Service providers must retain computer traffic data for at least 90 days from the date the data enters the computer system. In necessary cases, an official may order a service provider to retain computer traffic data for more than 90 days but not more than 2 years, as a special case for a specific provider and occasion.”
  3. Hashing can be used to verify the integrity of logs if they are altered, with 3 standard methods: MD5, SHA1 and SHA-256
  4. Access rights to the data are set with role-based access control
